While your quilt is in my smoke free home, it is fully insured and will receive my tender loving care. As each new quilt is hand pinned onto the frame, it becomes the most important quilt in the studio.
Below prices include the cost of batting. I provide 4oz poly batting, or Hobbs 80/20.
A - Overall Pattern Quilting - includes freehand designs that are quilted over the entire quilt, including various meandering techniques.
Prices begin at 1.5 cents a square inch
Example 80 inch x 90 inch= 7200 inches
7200 x .02 = $108.00
B - Edge-to-Edge Quilting - One continuous pattern of your choosing quilted over entire quilt from edge to edge. Some of our pantograph patterns fit into this pricing category.
C - Basting - top, batting, and backing are put together using an elongated stitch in a 4- to 6-inch grid, or similar pattern, to prepare your quilt for hand quilting. Perimeter will be stitched within 1/4 inch seam allowance, if preferred.
Prices begin at $20 twin/full quilt and $25 Queen/King.
D - Binding - can be made from fabric you provide and attached to the quilt using the following methods.
1. Half-binding means the binding will be made and attached with mitered corners to the front of your quilt. You hand sew to the back.
Price: $1.75 per lineal foot.
2. Full Binding means the binding will be attached with mitered corners to the front of your quilt and hand sewn to the back with matching thread.
Price: $3.00 per lineal foot.
3. Machine Binding means the binding will be attached with mitered corners to the back of your quilt and turned to the front, and sewn by machine
Price: $2.50 per lineal foot.
Above prices include the cost of batting.
Backing can be provided at an extra cost.
